What is the description of the property visited by Marie?

It is an 80m² apartment, completely renovated, located on the 2nd floor out of the 4 of a building from the 70s with lift and 900m from the RER B. It includes an entrance, a 38m² living room, an open kitchen, an open kitchen, two beautiful bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet. Bright, the property is not directly overlooked, with one side overlooking the N20 and the other on a small residential area. On this side, there is even a small balcony, with the possibility of putting a table and chairs. For the record, the owner owned all the apartments on the first floor, which he had transformed into a doctor's office, then, when the doctors left, he decided to refurbish everything and sell them to individuals, after renovation.

How did Augustin decide?

After her visit, Marie sent a video of the property, telling Augustin that it was possible to make a small negotiation on this product. Since this is his first purchase, the young man cannot position himself without visiting it himself... Thanks to his privileged contacts, our apartment hunter obtains from the real estate agent — who does not exclusively hold this file — that he keeps the keys to the property. In this way, if another agent asks him for them before Augustin returns, he can warn Marie and Augustin of the impending visit. During his visit, Augustin is under the spell and immediately signs, on Marie's advice, an offer slightly below the price displayed. A proposal quickly accepted by the owner...

With this purchase, what surprise awaited Augustin?

In Augustin's small condominium, there is a small space available to park, which was sold by the former owner for the sum of €12,000. But as the payment has not yet been made, it is up to Augustin. However, it was agreed, beforehand, that all the profits from the sale of the car parks would go to the condominium, to finance future work. In other words, the young man already has a substantial reserve of money thanks to this operation for the next refreshment.

Did Augustin do some work before moving in?

While the apartment was completely renovated, it had white walls that Augustin wanted to personalize. The young man also wanted to extend the kitchen into the living room: he therefore had a custom kitchen made in a loft atmosphere, with facings to put on the wall in front of the kitchen. He took the opportunity to change some windows and add shutters in the main room.
