Why were Amandine and Antoine looking for a location?

Owners of a house in Fontainebleau, Antoine and Amandine want to get closer to Paris to facilitate their daily lives: in fact, as Antoine must travel to London every day for his work, he hopes to save precious time by moving closer to the station. Moreover, as their life project could lead them to live in the United Kingdom, in a few years, they decided to look for a rental in the meantime and to put their property up for sale.

Built in the 1920s, the house, for its part, is 130 m² spread over 3 floors: the first accommodates the kitchen overlooking the 50 m² garden, a bedroom and a laundry area; the second a magnificent 40 m² living room, with a workshop area with a bohemian chic glass roof; the third floor is dedicated to the sleeping area, with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom.
At the end of the visit, Amandine is completely under the spell: while they were considering an apartment, they may dream of a house with a garden for a rent of €3,400! Not to mention that the current owners want to rent their property for only 3 years (they are seizing a professional opportunity abroad), before coming back - which is perfect for the couple!
While all the signals are green, the file is “frozen” by the owners: there would be a problem in negotiating the employment contract between the country of origin and the host country. Not sure if the house will be rented, Ségolène must resume the search in the meantime...

Why did the visits continue despite the crush?

Quickly, Ségolène spots a superb Haussmann-style apartment in the 9th district.E district in Blanche: with a surface area of 130 m², it has a high ceiling and meets all the requirements of the couple. With the agreement of Amandine, our real estate hunter files a file. Unfortunately, the property was withdrawn from the market a few days later: the owner decided to put it up for sale rather than rent. New disappointment for Amandine and Antoine.
Once again in search, Ségolène pre-visits an apartment in their favorite neighborhood where they lived for 10 years (12E): with its 140 m² square meters (120 m² on the ground), it is offered as a duplex, on the top floor of a building offering a magnificent view of the roofs of Paris. Again, the couple is enthusiastic. Lacking luck, the agency does not send their file to the management firm and the apartment quickly finds a buyer. New disillusionment for young parents.
Ségolène goes hunting again and finds them an apartment in the 11E arrondissement, near Square Trousseau: the property is full of charm and also meets all the wishes of Amandine and Antoine, who particularly appreciate its location and who therefore decide to file an application...

What property are they going to choose?

In the meantime, Ségolène receives news from the owners of the first house: everything is unlocked! Amandine and Antoine can come and sign the lease contract! At this precise moment, the couple therefore has a choice to make: on the one hand a house with a garden 15 minutes by metro from the heart of Paris, on the other, an apartment in the 11th district that they really like.
After an intense reflection, and after having visited the Countryside area in Paris for a long time, which they did not know, their choice fell on the house!
